Kyuss, the inventors of "Desert Rock" is the last ten years has become more popular than when they played in the early 90's. So thanks to the huge crowd pressure gave the original members finally up, swallowed his pride and decided to give the fans what they want. A "once in a lifetime" opportunity? Certainly! If you have not got the chance in 1992, take it now! Kyuss Lives! I got the chance to see them on Sunday, but I did not take it, I was just too worn out to get out and see one another concert, which I bitterly regret, but on the other hand I probably would not have enjoyed it as if I had been more loosen up in order to see. Now I hope that they will have more flavor and will return soon.
Kyuss was founded in California in the late 80's. The band released their first EP under the name Sons of Kyuss in 1990, but shortened the name to just Kyuss. The band's line-up initially consisted of John Garcia, Josh Homme, Nick Olivieri and Brant Bjork. 1991, "Wretch, " the following year came "Blues For The Red Sun". In 1994 "Welcome To Sky Valley" and 1995 "... And The Circus Leaves Town". 1995 the band split up.
Todays tune is "One Inch Man" taken from the fourth studio album ...And the Circus Leaves Town, released on July 11, 1995.
Upon its release, the album was not as commercially or critically successful as the previous Blues for the Red Sun and Welcome to Sky Valley. A video was released for "One Inch Man", the album's only official single, and its a damm good one, enjoy!
