This is a sad day, I just read that Gary Moore left his earth life.
The feeling he have when he sing and play, its something that u seldom find.
BBC said (click here): "Mr Moore, 58, was, originally from Belfast, and was a former member of the legendary Irish group Thin Lizzy.
Adam Parsons, who manages Thin Lizzy, told the BBC that Mr Moore had died in the early hours of Sunday morning.
Mr Moore was originally drafted into Thin Lizzy by its singer Phil Lynott. He later gained acclaim for his solo work and was a former member of the Irish group Skid Row."
On Facebook (click here ) they say.
"It is with great sadness we hear about Gary Moore's death. Our thoughts now go to Gary's family and our memories of Gary and his contributions to Thin Lizzy and the music will live on forever, " writes the band on their website.
Drummer Brian Downey said the same page:
"I am in total shock. I've known Gary since 1967 when he played in the Platform Three and he has been a wonderful friend ever since. It was a pleasure to play with Gary again in 2006 after his days with Lizzy. He will always be in my thoughts and prayers and I just can not understand that he is gone."
He did his last album 2008 named "Bad For You Baby" through out the years he did around 20 solo albums and 6 live albums 11 compilations albums and severals with Thin Lizzy. He was a very productive fellow. He experimented with many musical genres, including rock, jazz, blues, country, electric blues, hard rock and heavy metal.
Here is a pick that I encounter here..
My thoughts today goes to Gary and his family and I wish him welcome back in another place and another time.. Love u!
