When the clock nearing half past nine, Kvelertak steps up on stage and kicks off the evening with "Fossegrim" and sets the bar directly on how the evening will be, totally fucking crazy. The audience was completely wild, see pictures below and you'll understand what I mean. People were hanging in the roof beams, stage-diving, BEER dash spirit and the one poor guy got a bit bloody. That these Norwegians can play as they do, I can only admire, which is awsome. There was chaos on the stage and the audience, some wonderful chaos, so to speak. The guards tried to get some control, but received only a simple "Fuck Off" from the band. The guys went around as passerines, a tangle of wires led from the gears so they stumbled on each other, the monitors fell to the ground, one started to smell really bad, you felt a burning smell mixed with perspiration. The bassrig stopped temporarily to work but with a joy it was back in operation.
As a live band is Kvelertak something that absolutely must be seen live. What an experience, quite brilliant almost like an orgasm.
Se Kvelertak besøke Popsalongen og covre Lars Vaulars rett opp og ned.
