Cross - Human Resolution

Today I was at gallery that 2 of my dearest friends had, at Gallery Kocks.
Tomas Johansson and Sofia Lundberg, Tomas is a marvelous painter and Sofia takes wonderful photos. Here they are :D

Tomas Johansson, painter and also the bas player in Lizette & (as we showed u a couple of days ago)

Sofia Lundberg, Photographer.

On this Gallery I met another exiting man, Hansi Cross.
He is a musician, and producer of music, Ive come across him many times (we are even FB friends) over the years. We have many common friends, but never spoke for real, until today. He is a very nice and intresting person, full of caring and love.

He and his band plays Symphonic progressive rock, and they are really good!!
And now on February 3rd they are releasing an album "Wake Up Call".

In November 2009, Hansi did an interview for Background Magazine and on the question: How do you see yourself: as a singer/guitarist, a keyboardist
or a composer and producer?

He said:

“I see myself as a composer and a singing guitarist. I’m not a brilliant keyboardist, but I tend to find it more inspiring to compose our music on keyboards rather than guitar. This creates some interesting situations. For instance, if I compose a riff for guitar and bass on keyboards it sounds great and not too difficult, but by the time, we have to play it on guitar it sometimes turns out to be quite a challenge. What is easy to play on keyboards is not always easy on guitar.

I believe this way of working adds a Cross-approach to our music. Riffs and bass lines often have a sort of uniqueness, because they have been written on different instruments. I like most of the parts of that creative process, in different ways, but I think the composing part is the most important to me. Of course, I highly enjoy performing, playing guitar and singing as well. I wouldn’t want to focus entirely on composing.”

The guys behind this album is:
Hansi Cross - guitars, keyboards, lead & harmony vox, percussion
Lollo Andersson - basses, taurus
Tomas Hjort - drums, percussion
with:
Jock Millgardh - lead and harmony vox
Mats Bender - keyboards
Hannah Sundkvist - electric violin
Stefan Damicolas - harmony vox
Sabina Cross - additional violin
Lizette von Panajott - processed female vox

Alice Cooper - I’ll Bite Your Face Off

Alice Cooper was in town Tuesday evening
(after playing golf with a Swedish tv personality).

He did a great gig, I worked with Pat, a great guy that worked with different creatures and stuff like the guillotine :) He was really nice. See him and me on the pic :D

Alice begun the show by standing on a big ladder.

The guitar players really take their space on the stage and seems to be very tight, young lads but really into the Alice Cooper nightmare ;D

Alice brought his big snake with him and it hugged him under a part of the show. :)
He also took the snake with him on the meet and greet with his v.i.p fans, My friend the photographer Sofia was one of them who got to meet him :D See Below.

And they met Alice of course :) Here is Sofia, Alice and Linnea.

They do got a thing for painted dolls :p

And dollars :p

I heard that he is gonna let out a new album early this year, but it got postponed,
the idea for the album came about soon after the thirtieth anniversary of the original Welcome to My Nightmare album, while Cooper was talking with producer Bob Ezrin, who proposed the idea of a sequel to Welcome to My Nightmare. Cooper liked the idea, and decided to recruit previous members of the Alice Cooper band. The concept of the album was described by Cooper as "another nightmare, and this one is even worse than the last one." Cooper said that he had originally intended to make a sequel to his 2008 album Along Came a Spider, but decided to make the Nightmare sequel after Ezrin explained that he "wasn't really into it."

The album was completed sometime during early 2011, with Cooper announcing its completion in February 2011 on his radio show, Nights with Alice Cooper. It was first scheduled to be released late in 2011 on Bob Ezrin's Bigger Picture label as part of a deal involved marketing, touring and production work by Bigger Picture for Cooper in the future. The release was then delayed until some time in 2012 due to Cooper's touring commitments, however it has most recently been brought back forward for a September 2011 release.

Here are some more pics of the show.
(I couldnt get a good pic as it was so crowded.)

Alice Cooper ended off as a fan to Sweden!

Here is some other taken under the show.

Folks here is Alice Cooper and a tune from his comming album "Welcome 2 My Nightmare".

She loved the concert.

On February 26, 2010, the band reformed and reunited for a brief tour of Europe in the summer to benefit Mike Porcaro, who has ALS. The lineup featured David Paich, Steve Lukather, Steve Porcaro, Simon Phillips, Joseph Williams and special guest Nathan East.

Steve Lukather stated that the band still exist;
“well with Mike not being well and some of us missing each other the REAL high school friends ( yes that includes Joe!!) got back together for the RIGHT reason.

People want to hear the hits played the way they were recorded, Joe has his voice back 100% and I loved having that power in front again and all REAL, BG vocals again strong and seeing Paich AND Steve Porcaro with THOSE real keyboard sounds, Simon back and as Lee was busy having old pal Nate East step in.. it was so much fun and so successful we thought " Hmm, maybe a few gigs once in awhile would be fun" and we can make some money etc.. please some of the hard core fans. We ALL have outside careers that keep us all busy, not to mention famlies etc.. no one really wants to make new music, not a full record anyway. MAYBE a track someday but not in the near future. I am on tour for a year anyway and enjoying a very successful sold out solo tour and my record sales are better than they have ever been so I dont wanna mess THAT up and everyone has their own very busy successful lives and once in awhile.. why not right? There is no covert BS goin on here."

Lukather also said that they went on with Joseph Williams because they wanted to try something different and that he did not have any bad feelings towards Bobby Kimball. The band will continue with the current line up.

Toto plan to memorialize the 2011 European Tour by filming an upcoming show this summer. This DVD is scheduled to be released later this year.

Thats gonna be cool to see :D

Alrighters Darlin´s Here we go, Toto!

Lizette & - Worst Fuck

Lizette & has a show coming up tomorrow 5 of June, 20:00 @ Göta Källare in Stockholm, Sweden. This is something you def cant miss, if u like industrial rock and all in between.

Lizette & is:
Lizette Von Panajott on Vocals and producer.
Tomas on Bas
Alex on Drums
Ink on Guitar
Marcus on Guitar and Keyboard

Awesome guys all of em!!

Lizette started singing in a studio that was all into POP, let me clarify that - POP! The extremely cool people working in this studio thought that Enya made "really deep and weird music".

This is all fine, but Lizette's music always sounded MUCH "weirder" than Enya ever did. She thought that there would not be an audience for what she did - so why do it... except for the fact that it was so fulfilling and enjoyable.
About 1 year later she got introduced to NIN, the album "Downward spiral". Hearing what he did on that album and the fact that he had an extremely large audience who really needed and loved his music - Lizette got to work for real and started to produce the album "This is". Learning more about all the technical aspects that are needed for a full blown album production as she went along.

So - here U have it - done with a lot of love - angry, beautiful and horrifying music made to create an impact. To reach the soul of her listeners and explore new worlds.

Lizette - creating her music at nighttime U almost feel the chill of the wind outside her window and sense the moonlight in the room as she composes and sings. Let her touch Ur inner core and accept the message she delivers forcefully with her art.

We have had many videos here on Lizette so now i just have one left.
I wanted to have the tune "Crush U" but i couldnt find any embed thingie ah well.
This tune is quite funny so I guess I show u :D

I will go at the gig, although I will be a bit late as im doing a gig at the Globe but Ill run and see this fantastic band and Lady, she is a awesome woman and friend!

Cheers, Thetania

Dan Reed - Brave New World

Dan Reed visited Stockholm yesterday, and did a marvelous gig according to my friends Lizette And was the support band, now thats a great industrial rock band, love it!

If you missed who he is, i found this on his homesite

Dan Reed Dan Reed was born in Portland, Oregon, but in early childhood moved to South Dakota after his mother remarried the owner of a cattle ranch. Growing up on 2000 acre's of land as an only child gave Dan plenty of time to daydream and it was here, riding tractor in the summer sun that Dan first fantasized about becoming a musician while listening to the Doobie Brothers, Kiss, Cheap Trick and Van Halen blaring on the tractor cabs' AM radio.

Although there were many incarnations of bands Dan performed with in South Dakota and in Portland it was in December of 1985 where he truly first began his musical journey as the lead singer of a band called “The Dan Reed Network”. Garnering huge local support the band signed to PolyGram Records in the summer of 1987. Home of Bon Jovi, Def Leppard and Tears For Fears. The Dan Reed Network released three very successful albums to much critical and commercial success between 1988 and 1992.

The band had the honor of 'seeing the world', opening for such bands as RUN DMC, UB40, David Bowie and Bon Jovi, eventually becoming the supporting act for the Rolling Stones’ 1991 European tour. It was at this time Dan journeyed to India with Bob Guccione Jr. to interview the Dalai Lama for Spin Magazine. It was during this trip that Dan began to hunger for more than the pop/rock music scene had to offer.

This was the catalyst for the long journey that Dan has taken, bringing him back in 2008 where he belongs, writing and performing new music with experiences wth the “rock star image” behind him. In the 1990’s he started an independent record company in his hometown of Portland, Oregon to help promote local Northwest bands, while at the same time studying acting.
